Krikor Kouyoumdjian

Krikor Kouyoumdjian 11/14/1992 – 12/27/2025 was born in Los Angeles. He was passionate about advocating for the rights of individuals and his community. While attending UCLA Law, Krikor served as a law clerk in the Federal Public Defender Capital Trial Unit, as well as the County Public Defender for Burbank, Compton, and Van Nuys.

Upon graduating, Krikor worked representing both individual plaintiffs and large classes of workers in a variety of suits including wage and hour violations, employment rights, civil rights, and whistleblower claims. Krikor then worked as a clerk for the Honorable Richard L. Fruin of the Los Angeles Superior Court, an independent calendar court which handled cases ranging from individual personal injury to international corporate fraud.

In 2012, Krikor founded the debate program at the Center for Early Education in Los Angeles. For 13 years, he taught fifth and sixth graders to find their own voice and challenged them to discuss both sides of any issue. His enduring compassion for anyone suffering an injustice will always be remembered.
